Epoxy Flake

Vinyl chip broadcast into pigmented epoxy — the garage floor most people are picturing.

Flake is the workhorse. A pigmented epoxy base goes down over a prepared slab, vinyl chips are broadcast into it until the floor refuses another chip, and the whole thing is scraped back flat and sealed under a clear topcoat.

The chips are doing more than decoration. They put texture underfoot, so the floor stays predictable when it is wet, and they break up the surface visually — which means the ordinary life of a slab, the patches and the trowel marks and the hairline cracks, stops being the first thing you see. A solid colour shows everything. Flake forgives.

We install the full Torginol collection: 240 blends, from near-solid greys through to blends with a lot going on. Browse them by colour, then look at the same blend on a real floor before you commit.
